Northeast corner of Lot 24, Block 687 of said Plat of Everett, and the POINT OF BEGINNING. and shown on the attached sketch, be considered for vacation in accordance with R.C.W. 35.79.010; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 further provides that the City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public hearing on the consideration of said right of way vacation; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.020 provides, in part, that in addition to posting written notice in three (3) of the most public places in the city, and a like notice in a conspicuous place on the right of way to be vacated at least twenty (20) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, a similar notice be mailed to the owners, or reputed owners, of abutting properties, as shown on the rolls of the county treasurer, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for the 27th day of March , 2002 at 8:30A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 3002 Wetmore Avenue, to consider the proposed vacation of the aforesaid rights of way as herein described, and that the notices be posted and mailed as required.
