ATi'entr <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5125 <br /> A RESOLUTION setting the time and date of the public <br /> hearing for the proposed vacation of the alley located in <br /> Block 652, and a portion of State Street between Block 651 <br /> and Block 652, Plat of Swalwell's 1st Addition <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage abutting the alley, <br /> described as follows: <br /> All that portion of the Plat of Swalwell's 1st Addition to Everett, according to the plat <br /> thereof, recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, Page 103, records of Snohomish County, <br /> Washington; described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 30, Block 652 of said plat; THENCE, East <br /> along the South line of said Lot 30 to intersect the Southerly right of way line of the <br /> Eastbound On-ramp from Interstate Highway 5 to U.S. Highway 2; THENCE, <br /> Southeasterly along said Southerly right of way line to intersect the West line of Lot 10, <br /> Block 651 of said plat; THENCE, South along said West line of said lot to the Southwest <br /> corner thereof, and the Northerly right of way line of Hewitt Avenue; THENCE, Westerly <br /> along said Northerly right of way line of said Hewitt Avenue to the Southeast corner of Lot <br /> 1, Block 652 of said plat; THENCE, North along the East line of said Lot 1of said block to <br /> the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, West along the North line of Lots 1 through 5, <br /> inclusive to intersect the Southerly projected West line of Lot 30; THENCE, North along <br /> said Southerly projection to the Southwest corner of said Lot 30 of said Block 652, and <br /> the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> and shown on the attached sketch, have petitioned for the vacation of said right-of-way; <br /> WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date <br /> for public hearing on said petition; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that a public hearing be set for December 12th,2001 at 8:30A.M. in the City <br /> Council Chambers, City Hall, at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, to consider the proposed <br /> vacation of the aforesaid rights-of-way, as herein described. <br /> - A'_. ---.1 " - ,--- - _L.-di, 1 ,l-pee5,27______ <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 14th day of November, 2001 . <br /> ' rtcil Presi t <br />
