RESOLUTION NO. 5118 <br /> A RESOLUTION to lower the speed limit on Holly Drive from Dakota Way to Airport Road from 35 <br /> mph to 30 mph <br /> WHEREAS, the portion of Holly Drive from Dakota Way to Airport Road has recently been annexed <br /> to the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, new residential development and increased pedestrian activity along that portion of Holly <br /> Drive continues to occur; and <br /> WHEREAS, the speed limit on Holly Drive north of Dakota Way is 30 mph and a consistent speed <br /> limit facilitates enforcement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Transportation Advisory Committee concurs with the recommendation of the Traffic <br /> Engineer to lower the speed limit on Holly Drive; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that the following be established: <br /> 30 mph speed limit on Holly Drive from Dakota Way to Airport Road <br /> Councilman Introducing"esolution <br /> Passed and approved this 24th day of October , 2001 <br /> Council Presiden <br /> DEDI/!CCAGENDA/HOLLYDRIVE SPEED LIMIT CHANGE <br />
