F E-1F,.
CIT Pianninc Dent,
January 28, 2005
Everett Planning Commission
City Hall
Everett, Washington
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing in regard to PEMC's hospital expansion plan. I live four blocks from the
hospital and have owned my home for fifty-eight years. The Hospital has always been part
of the neighborhood and I have considered it a good neighbor until I heard of its newest
Vision plan.
PEI* needs to stay within its footprint or reloacate some of its services to another
campus. Everett Community College's expansion and the planned expansion of PEMC
will destroy the character and livability of a very desirable neighborhood.
I acknowledge the importance of both the College and Hospital but I feel the Hospital and
the City of Everett need to come up with a plan that will not destroy well constructed
affordable housing. There are not enough neigborhoods in the City of Everett with old
fashion charm. Why destroy our history?
Sincerely,
Coral Lee
1419 Grand Avenue
Everett, Wa. 98201
