Project Meetings: We will participate in up to two project meetings with the design <br /> team,to discuss our findings and recommendations. <br /> Task & Project Management: We will provide project management of the geotechnical <br /> engineering study. Wc will correspond with CHS and the City as required in the form of ernails, <br /> telephone calls,and facsimile. Wc will prepare progress reports with our monthly invoices if <br /> required. <br /> COST ESTIMATE <br /> We estimate the cost of the scope of work proposed herein, including the contingency for <br /> additional drilling,to be approximately$21,000. A breakdown of these costs is provided on the <br /> attached worksheets. We apply a 15%markup on subcontractor expenses,to cover state- <br /> mandated B&O taxes. Our current WSDOT-approved overhead rate is 185.49%. <br /> The field investigation task proposed represents the minimum level of effort that is consistent <br /> with the standard of care in geotechnical engineering in this geographic arca. If unexpected <br /> conditions are revealed during the evaluation,or if analyses and evaluations requiring an <br /> expanded level of effort become necessary, we will contact you immediately to discuss any <br /> necessary modifications to our scope of services and/or budget estimate. <br /> Our scope of services does not include the evaluation of the potential presence and/or <br /> concentrations of contaminated and/or hazardous materials on site, nor the identification or <br /> delineation of wetlands and the project's potential impact on them. <br /> SCI IEDULE <br /> We will work with you to ensure that your schedule requirements are met. We arc prepared to <br /> begin work immediately upon your authorization to proceed. Based on current driller <br /> availability,we will need at least two weeks to schedule a drilling subcontractor.
