Voters approved the annexation with a 74.2%yes vote on November 8, 2005. The annexation and confirmation of the Comprehensive Plan designation was carried out with Ordinance 2881-05 on November 30,2005. The annexation area came into the City on December 15, 2005. The attached zoning ordinance is the final action requested of Council in this matter. The proposed R-1 (Single Family Detached)zone would cover the entire area. R-1 is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan map designation, 1.2 (Single Family Detached),which is currently in effect in the subject area. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Approve the Ordinance setting zoning for the Cascade Highlands/Hilton Place annexation area, located south of 100th Street SE, east of 26th Drive SE. 5
