Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: On September 28, 2005, the Everett City Council passed Resolution No. 5681 in support of the grant application to the State of Washington. The competitive grant application was successful and we received the full amount requested which is$35,000.00. The purpose of the grant is to complete a market study and draft design standards/zoning code changes to encourage desirable high quality,higher density housing in areas adjacent to Everett's downtown. These areas are the Rucker Grand,North.Downtown, and Neighborhorhood Infill generally shown on the attached map. This is part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan adopted in 2005.
