EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2006 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: January 25, 2006 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,915,339.86 for the period of January 14, 2006 through January 20, 2006 (2) To approve a rolling street closure beginning and ending at the YMCA, California and Rockefeller, for 5K, 10K, and One Mile Walk/Runs on July 4, 2006, 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the closure of Rockefeller, Everett Avenue to California, and California, Oakes to Wetmore, from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., sponsored by the Everett YMCA with the following conditions; a motorcycle escort to provide safe passage for the runners, a volunteer flagger with safety gear posted at each minor intersection along the route, and two flaggers (one certified) at each major intersection (four way stop or electric signal) along the route ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) (3) Approve the purchase of four (4) Ford F550 Super Duty Cab and Chassis from Washington State Contract 05605 for $114,292.10 including tax and license (4) Approve the purchase of six (6) Ford Taurus sedans from Washington State Contract 05005 for a total of $87,847.32 including tax and license (5) Award Bid 2005-804, Sodium Hypochlorite to JCI Jones Chemical in the amount of $95,133.60 including Washington State Sales Tax (6) Award Construction Contract for the 2005 Signal Improvement Project to Signal Electric of Kent, WA, in the amount of $359,547.30 (7) Adopt Resolution # authorizing electronic claims against Transit Fund 425 for the month of December 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005 AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
