The Ford Taurus has been identified as meeting this <br /> requirement and is available from a competitively bid Washington State contract. The City has an interlocal <br /> cooperative purchasing agreement with the State that allows us to make purchases from their competitively <br /> awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids on our own. <br /> This purchase will replace six 1991-1997 vehicles per the 2006 Approved Replacement List. Replaced <br /> vehicles will be surplused when replacements are put into service. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the purchase of six (6)Ford Taurus sedans from Washington State Contract 05005 for a total of <br /> $87,847.32 including tax and license. <br /> 11 <br />
