3 <br /> J <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> AMENDMENT 2 <br /> TO <br /> PANTHER CREEK SCREEN HOUSE REHABILITATION PROJECT <br /> SCOPE OF WORK-AMENDMENT 2 • <br /> The following scope of work describes the tasks necessary to design additional modifications, <br /> requested by the City,to the screen house. The design will be modified so that the existing <br /> industrial distribution channel will be converted to convey potable water from Pipeline No.2. <br /> This change will require a closed conduit design in the industrial distribution channel and a new <br /> overflow from the industrial screen channels. Further design modifications are necessary to <br /> comply with Department of Health cross-connection requirements. The City has also requested <br /> that 48-inch be the minimum gate size in the screen house. <br /> TASKS: PANTHER CREEK SCREEN HOUSE REHABILITATION PROJECT <br /> ADDITIONAL WORK <br /> • Task 1 . Drawing Additions and Modifications: Modify existing drawings to reflect the <br /> changes requested by the.City. Additional drawings are required for additional plan and section <br /> views, and details. <br /> Task 2 Specification Additions and Modifications: Modify existing specifications to reflect <br /> the changes requested by the City.Additional specifications are required for the industrial <br /> distribution channel and overflow modifications. <br /> Task 3 Alternative Design Memo/Additional Hydraulic Calculations: Prepare a design <br /> memorandum summarizing the requested design modifications, including additional <br /> calculations, preliminary drawings, and operating strategies for City approval. <br /> Task 4 Project Management: Provide project scheduling and project resource scheduling <br /> services. <br /> Task 5 Quality Review: Review modified and additional design drawings and specifications. <br /> Task 6 Coordination and Meetings with City of Everett Staff, Berger/ABAM, McGowan- <br /> Broz, and the Department of Health: Provide coordination and attend meetings with City of <br /> Everett Staff, Berger/ABAM staff, McGowan-Broz staff, and the Department of Health. <br /> 16 <br /> HACrteri Everet1_SEA4I583s.101PM1addendum-tasks.doc 1 <br />
