February 15, 2017 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING - COUNCIL BILL 1701-07 <br /> President Tuohy opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. 1701- <br /> 07, a proposed ordinance pertaining to Accessory Dwelling Units, <br /> amending Ordinance Nos. 1847-92, 2146-96, 2397-99 and 2503-01, as <br /> amended (EMC Title 15 and 19). <br /> Allan Giffen, Planning, stated the Planning Commission held four public <br /> workshops and a public hearing to review the current regulations. He <br /> stated the major change recommended is to allow additions of detached <br /> accessory dwelling units to all single family zones. <br /> Council President Tuohy invited public comment. <br /> John Dimas, Everett, thanked Council for the opportunity to bring forth the <br /> updates to the current municipal code and expressed his support of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> Moved by Council Member Franklin, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1701-07 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE pertaining to Accessory Dwelling Units, amending <br /> Ordinance Nos. 1847-92, 2146-96, 2397-99 and 2503-01, as <br /> amended (EMC Title 15 and 19) <br /> 62 <br />
