RESOLUTION No. 5047 <br /> A RESOLUTION Adopting a Drought Response Plan. <br /> WHEREAS, Governor Locke declared a drought emergency on March 14, 2001. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Water Utility Committee has developed and recommended <br /> approval of a Drought Response Plan. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Parks and Facilities Departments have reviewed and <br /> approved the Drought Response Plan. <br /> WHEREAS, it is important for the City of Everett Public Works Department to be <br /> prepared in the event of a water shortage. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT, that the City of Everett City Council adopts the Drought Response Plan <br /> as recommended by the Everett Water Utility Committee. <br /> • person Introducing '�lution <br /> Passed and Approved this 23rd day of May , 2001; <br /> ['I/1c.} <br /> Council President <br />
