00111P111111 Ayr meIA RESOLUTION NO. 5024 A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of Sound Avenue lying North of Shore Avenue WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage abutting the alley. described as follows: All that portion of Sound Avenue right of way, as platted, and abutting Lot 16, Block 9, Plat of Shore Acres, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, Page 32, records of Snohomish County, Washington; described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Plat of Edgewater, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, Page 94, records of Snohomish County, Washington; THENCE, Northeasterly to the Northwest corner of said Lot 16, Block 9, Plat of Shore Acres; THENCE, South along the West line of said Lot 16, said line also being the East right of way line of said Sound Avenue, to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, Southwesterly along the Southwesterly projected South line of said Lot 16 to intersect the East line of said Lot 1, Plat of Edgewater, said line also being the West right of way line of said Sound Avenue; THENCE, North along said East lot line to the Northeast corner of said lot, and the POINT OF BEGINNING. and shown on the attached sketch, have petitioned for the vacation of said right-of-way; WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public hearing on said petition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for April 11th, 2001 at 8:30A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall. 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, to consider the proposed vacation of aforesaid right-of-way as herein described. %�1' c -'" Councilperson Introducing ';;elution PASSED AND APPROVED this 1 th day of March. 2001. --:- -,' 67.4.1....d ...)...,_?,-.4_,1_30., Council Presiden S.\LMay'berr\WORD\VACATION\RESOLUTN\SOUND AVE RES doc
