RESOLUTION No. 5019 <br /> A Resolution Accepting The Report of <br /> The Special Events Center Feasibility Committee <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has engaged the firm of Brailsford& Dunlavey to <br /> conduct a study on the feasibility of the creation of a special events center by a Public <br /> Facilities District which can be created by the City; <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett on January 24, 2001 appointed a Citizen's committee to <br /> evaluate the Brailsford&Dunlavey Feasibility report chaired by Rich Anderson and <br /> whose members were Joanne Burkett, Bob Dickson, Allen Funk, Tom Gaffney, Arlan <br /> Hatloe, Steve Juntila, Sanford Kinzer, Frank McCord, Gary Meisner, Jessica Pavish, <br /> Karen Shaw, Patty Sievers, Craig Skotdal, and Brenda Stonecipher; <br /> WHEREAS,the committee reviewed and critiqued the Brailsford& Dunlavey feasibility <br /> study in the course of four meetings having heard presentations from Chris Dunlavey, <br /> President of Brailsford&Dunlavey, city staff including Don Hale and Lanie McMullin <br /> and obtained additional input from various industry sources; <br /> WHEREAS, the committee has produced a written report dated March 5, 2001 of its <br /> findings and conclusions and has presented it to the Mayor and Council; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> accepts the Report of the Citizens Committee on the Special Events Center Feasibility <br /> and thanks each and every member for their participation in the activities of the <br /> Committee. <br /> Si 0114 <br /> 4 <br /> ouncilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and Approved this 7th day of March 2001. <br /> Council President <br />
