AMP <br /> 679, <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 5 012 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the declaration of <br /> approximately 40 acres of City owned property <br /> located southwest of Lake Chaplain as surplus <br /> WHEREAS, review of the property generally described as the City's real <br /> property consisting of approximately 40 acres located southwest of Lake <br /> Chaplain in Snohomish County which is legally described in Exhibit "A," <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, has been <br /> completed by all City Departments and has received approval of the Mayor; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the property <br /> described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is outside the tributary boundaries of Lake <br /> Chaplain; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property that will be exchanged for the subject property is <br /> within the tributary boundaries of Lake Chaplain; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with <br /> the requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of <br /> Resolution # 1984; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT as follows: <br /> The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for <br /> City purposes and is, therefore, declared to be surplus property. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 14th day of February, 2001. <br /> 7(-1) <br /> Council President <br />
