RESOLUTION NO. 5001 <br /> A RESOLUTION initiating public involvement and development of an <br /> Implementation plan for converting the one-way streets of Hoyt, Wetmore <br /> and California to two-way streets. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has completed a study which determined potential impacts and <br /> community benefits from converting the one-way streets of Hoyt, Wetmore and California <br /> to two-way streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, a City Council workshop concerning the results of the study was held on <br /> January 10, 2001; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional information regarding potential impacts and benefits is needed <br /> from residents, businesses, neighborhood groups and business associations in the vicinity <br /> of the one-way segments of Hoyt, Wetmore and California and an implementation plan is <br /> needed to determine schedule and project costs. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT, that City staff be authorized to initiate public involvement and to develop <br /> an implementation plan for converting the one-way streets of Hoyt, Wetmore and <br /> California to two-way streets <br /> - <br /> /d._ F _/ <br /> 'ouncilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 17th day January 20 01 <br /> Council President <br />
