0011pinar <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4976 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the execution <br /> of a Purchase and Sale Agreement between <br /> the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, a governmental entity <br /> and the City of Everett for the sale of <br /> approximately 900 acres of City owned property <br /> located on Marine Drive, northwest of Tulalip Bay <br /> in Snohomish County <br /> WHEREAS, in Resolution No.4937 the Everett City Council did declare <br /> surplus approximately 900 acres of City owned utility property generally <br /> located on Marine Drive, northwest of Tulalip Bay in Snohomish County <br /> which property is legally described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett and the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, a <br /> governmental entity, have negotiated a private sale of the property in <br /> accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Purchase and Sale <br /> Agreement which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as <br /> Exhibit "B"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with <br /> the requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and under such <br /> requirements has published the notice of intention to sell property; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT as follows: <br /> That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement as <br /> shown in Exhibit "B" between the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, a <br /> governmental entity, and the City of Everett. <br /> „_ . . <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 15th day of November , 2000. <br /> /(2 <br /> Coun ' Preside <br /> resolution Tulalip Property <br />
