ETT <br /> RESOLUTION # 4968 <br /> RESOLUTION for expenditure of Human Needs Funding <br /> WHEREAS, the City allocates funding each year of monies to be used for human services programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, $262,789 is included in the 2001 proposed budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, $4,483 appropriated in 2000 will be carried forward for re-appropriation in 2001; and <br /> WHEREAS, there exists in the community a need for monies to supplement human services programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee, formed to make recommendations to the City Council for <br /> allocation of these funds annually, has voted to recommend funding as listed below; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL that the Mayor or his designee be <br /> authorized to execute a contract with each of the listed agencies in the amount specified for the purpose stated: <br /> 1) ARC-Emergency Food and Shelter <br /> $6,000. <br /> 2) ARC-Financial Management <br /> $5,000. <br /> 3) ARC-Medical Dental Assistance <br /> $8,000 <br /> 4) ARC- Parenting Support <br /> $3,000. <br /> 5) Boys & Girls Clubs-Education and Career Development <br /> $5,000. <br /> 6) Burn Children Recovery Foundation-Counseling/Camp <br /> $2,500 <br /> 7) Camp Fire Boys and Girls- Teen Parent Program <br /> $1,200. <br /> 8) Catholic Community Services-Crisis Nursery <br /> $7,500. <br /> 9) Catholic Community Services-Helpers of People With AIDS <br /> $2,500. <br />
