RESOLUTION NO. 4943 <br /> A RESOLUTION to lower the speed limit on East Grand Avenue from 23' Street to East <br /> Marine View Drive from 30 mph to 25 mph <br /> WHEREAS, residents have petitioned to lower the speed limit on East Grand from 23`d Street <br /> to East Marine View Drive from 30 mph to 25 mph; and <br /> WHEREAS, the character of East Grand is that of a residential neighborhood street with low <br /> traffic volumes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the speed limit on East Grand south of 23' Street is 25 mph and a consistent <br /> speed limit facilitates enforcement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering Division has studied speeds and collisions on East Grand <br /> and recommends the speed limit reduction; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the following be established: <br /> 25 mph speed limit on East Grand from 23`d Street to East Marine View Drive. <br /> Counci man Introducing Ress6lut- <br /> Passed and approved this 16th day of August ,2000 <br /> , ,c--A-t2-45113 <br /> Council 'resident <br />
