,r/ P/ImmP m <br /> 0101,....a <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4937 <br /> A resolution declaring approximately 906 acres of City owned property <br /> located on Marine Drive, northwest of Tulalip Bay in Snohomish County, <br /> surplus <br /> WHEREAS, property generally described as the City's real property consisting of <br /> approximately 906 acres generally located on Marine Drive, northwest of Tulalip Bay in <br /> Snohomish County which is legally described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by reference, has been examined by all City Departments and each has <br /> determined that the property is no longer needed to meet any City operational need and <br /> such information has been delivered to the Mayor; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council, having considered the finding of staff, finds and <br /> determines that the property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not in the future be <br /> needed to meet any City operational purposes or needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with the <br /> requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of Resolution# 1984; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT as follows: <br /> The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes <br /> and is, therefore, declared to be surplus property; <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any sale of the above described property shall be in <br /> compliance with the provisions of the Everett City Charter and the purchase price shall be <br /> paid in cash at closing at not less than its appraised value. <br /> ...07111111.1111"."— <br /> .�: 'triers-on Introduciny'"e olution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 2nd day of August , 2000. <br /> A al 1"i'r2l-7g,/0.....e:0 <br /> (---,2, <br /> Counci i'resident <br />
