7 <br /> Planning Commission Minutes <br /> February 7, 2006 <br /> Approved <br /> Acting Chairman, CJ Ebert, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Other <br /> Commissioners attending were Earl Dutton, Michelle Trautman, Si Newland, <br /> Gene Dvornick, and David Simpson. <br /> Commissioner not in attendance: Clair Olivers and Carol Lorioux Loup <br /> City staff members present were Allan Giffen, Dave Koenig, Bob Larsen, Jim <br /> Hanson, and Kathy Davis of the Planning Department. <br /> Planning Commission Meeting Minutes, January 17, 2006 <br /> Motion: Commissioner Dvornick made a motion to approve the January 17, <br /> 2006 minutes. Commissioner Newland seconded the motion. <br /> Vote: Commissioner Simpson, yes; Commissioner Dvornick, yes; Commissioner <br /> Newland, yes; Acting Chairman Ebert, yes; Commissioner Dutton, yes; and <br /> Michelle Trautman, abstain. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Item #1: Review Proposed Revision to Building Elevations for the Joe Zlab <br /> Multiple Family Project in the 2600 Block of Rockefeller Avenue <br /> Allan Giffen, Planning Director, stated that the 2004 Comprehensive Plan docket <br /> cycle included a rezone request from Joe Zlab for property in the 2600 block of <br /> Rockefeller Avenue. He referred to a concept drawing on the screen that was <br /> included in the previously approved development agreement for the project. At <br /> the time, the Commission and Council were concerned about the quality of <br /> development and wanted to make sure that the graphics presented at the time <br /> were constructed. In the development agreement, language was included that <br /> stated that any significant changes in the building elevations would have to go <br /> back to Planning Commission and City Council. He referred to another graphic <br /> which demonstrated the current proposal and briefly explained some of the <br /> differences between the two proposals. <br /> Commissioner Simpson asked Mr. Giffen if the number of required parking stalls <br /> would change as a result of the proposed revision. Mr. Giffen stated that the <br /> proposed parking met City parking regulations. <br /> f6 <br />
