The Department collaborates with the Snohomish County Prosecutor's <br /> Office, Center for Battered Women and Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center to improve criminal justice and <br /> community response to violence against women in Snohomish County. <br /> Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center will receive $14,588.50 of STOP grant monies for FY 2005. The City of <br /> Everett and Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center entered into an Agreement in 2002 which defined <br /> responsibilities and obligations of the parties. The FY 2005 Agreement is essentially the same as the FY 2002 <br /> Agreement,but sets the term of the Agreement to cover the FY 2005 grant period, changes some of the services to be <br /> provided, sets 2005 reporting dates, and sets 2005 reimbursement guidelines. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Agreement for FY 2005 with Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center <br /> regarding the STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant program. <br /> 36 <br /> S:PCORNISH:WORD:CouncilAgenda:Agenda Coversheet-Proc-2-14-05 <br />
