9 <br /> • , <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AND <br /> SYSTEMS DESIGN NORTHWEST, INC. <br /> The City of Everett and Systems Design Northwest, Inc. ("Systems Design"), agree to amend <br /> and modify their professional services agreement for Ambulance Transport Billing Services <br /> effective 3/15/05 (the"Agreement") as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Systems Design has satisfactorily performed the services outlined in the 3/15/05 <br /> Agreement and has proposed to continue to provide said services for another nine months to Dec. <br /> 31, 2006, and <br /> WHEREAS,the City is willing to accept said proposal; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and Systems Design agree to amend and modify the <br /> 3/15/05 Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Section II of the 3/28/05 Agreement between the parties is hereby amended to read <br /> hereafter as follows: <br /> This Agreement begins on April 1, 2005 and expires on Dec. 31, 2006. <br /> 2. The effective date of this Amendment is April 1, 2006. <br /> 3.
