A riser diagram is required to indicate the following (see attached): city main, size of water supply <br /> line, water meter size, single check valve, flow switch to outside bell, ball valve to system drein, <br /> pressure gauge, maximum 10'-0" dead end, and ali drewdown fixtures for all floors where the fire <br /> sprinkler lines are located. <br /> The riser should indicate a single check valve at the branch to supply the sprinklers in the riser <br /> diagram of separate plumbing and suppression lines. <br /> 2. The only plumbing fixtures allowed for multi-purpose systems in the City of Everett jurisdiction are <br /> toilets. Sufficient numbers of toilet connections should be provided so that the there is an inlet and <br /> outlet to regularly flush the water supply lines for the sprinkler system (on all floors). <br /> Upon submission of three sets of revised drawings and calculatlons reflecting the corcections <br /> requested, your application will be processed. Applicable codes include the 2009 International Building <br /> Code (IRC), the 2009 International Fire Code (IFC), and referenced standards. All codes, as adopted by the <br /> City of Everett Municipal Code, should include current revisions by the State of Washington. These <br /> comments address building issues only. Revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to <br /> ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
