The <br /> Uniform Building Code provides that all permiu expire by limitation if the work authorized <br /> by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time aher work is commenced for a period of <br /> 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without documentation of <br /> completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work that haz occurred, to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> 1 leue respond wichin 10 days.
