Corporation of Everett , Washingtor., that referenced <br /> lots contained unsuitable material in the foundation areas. D.D.S. <br /> Corporation retained me to supervise the removal of the unsuitable <br /> material and the placement of imported backfill. <br /> The procedure was as follows: (a) foundation areas iaere <br /> excavated to "hard pan" or dense native material; (b) the excavation <br /> was then "backf�.11ed" with imported sandy gravel, placed in "lifts" <br /> not exceeding 12 inches, compacted �aith mechanical vibratory <br /> compactor to a specified density. <br /> The above precedure was done under my direction and continuous <br /> inspection. <br /> I am hereby certifying that the compacted material is adequaLe <br /> to support the proposed building on each of the referenced lots in <br /> accord with building plans. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> L�%����ii Z����yGW' <br /> JOHN B.
