The Kiwanis would like to use the Wall Street Building parking lot, as they did last year. The City granted the Kiwanis chapter permission to hold the Championship in the parking lot last year. The proposed license is substantially similar to last year's license. The proposed license authorizes Kiwanis to use the parking lot,requires Kiwanis to have certain insurance, and requires Kiwanis to clean up the parking lot when finished. The Kiwanis would use the parking lot from 6:00 p.m., Sunday,May 28, 2006,to 6:00 p.m.,Monday, (Memorial Day holiday),May 29, 2006. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Approve the Special Event Application by the Silver Lake-Everett Kiwanis Chapter to hold the Pacific Northwest BBQ Championship from 6:00 p.m. May 28, 2006,to 6:00 p.m. May 29, 2006, in conjunction with the Cruzin' on Colby Special Event and Authorize the Mayor to execute a License for Use of City Property for use of the Wall Street Building parking lot. • 8
