A two year effort with the <br /> Riverside Neighborhood,North Everett Little League and the Park Commission resulted in a new park <br /> masterplan. Adopted by City Council on December 15, 2004 the masterplan proposes significant <br /> improvement to the park including renovation of the playground,ballfields, multi-purpose court,restroom <br /> and community meeting space. On February 14, 2005 City Council adopted Ordinance 2901-06 funding <br /> Phase 1 that includes removing perimeter fence, old playground equipment, south parking area,paths and <br /> sidewalks as indicated on drawings; installing 34 new parking stalls; installing new 4' fence with new <br /> concrete mow strip around perimeter; constructing 4 new columned entryways and plazas; and constructing <br /> curbing for new playground area. This contract does not include playground equipment,which will happen <br /> under separate contract.
