12 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring surplus that certain Real Estate <br /> parcel located within the corporate limits of the City of Everett <br /> specifically the northwest corner of Pacific and Cedar Avenues and <br /> authorizing the sale thereof. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the review of the <br /> following described property needs of the property, has been completed by all <br /> City Departments, and approved by the Mayor; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the real property <br /> described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed City purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with the <br /> requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of Resolution <br /> No. 1984, except as modified herein; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT as follows: <br /> Section 1: The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be <br /> needed for City purposes, and is, therefore, declared to be surplus <br /> property; and <br /> Section 2: The real property described in Exhibit "A" shall be sold at a public sale <br /> by a competitive sealed bid on the following conditions: <br /> a) It is a priority that the subject property not be sold for less than <br /> 100% of the value as established by the written independent <br /> appraisal; and <br /> b) That the development of the property be in a manner consistent <br /> with the objectives set forth in Exhibit "B"; and <br /> c) The subject property shall be sold to the most responsive and <br /> responsible bidder(s) who is/are able to perform with the tender <br /> of U.S. funds at closing. Upon their request, the deposits of the <br /> second and third highest responsive responsible bidders may <br /> 93 <br />
