CITY OF EVER�TT - BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> ORDER <br /> WHEREAS , theretofore , there was filed with the City of <br /> Everett Building Division on (Date) January 21 , 1977 an <br /> application for a var:ance of Section No. 40.020 of Everett <br /> Municipal Code Charter 19 by (applicant) Harold Olsen & Buryl Osborn <br /> (address) Route 1 Box 508 , Granite Falls, WA 98252 <br /> for (specific variance requested) <br /> Permission to provide three (3) parking spaces rather than the Code <br /> requirement of six (6) parking stalls for the Karma Clinic. <br /> on the follow�ng described property : <br /> North 1/2 Lot 23 and Lot 24 , Block 636 of Swalwell 's <br /> Second Addition <br /> Address : 2726 Pine Street <br /> Zoning: R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence <br /> AND: WHEREAS, (date) February 7 , 77was fixed as the date <br /> of hearing on said application and proper notice having been given <br /> as required by law, <br /> AND: WHEREAS, a public hearin9 was held on said date and the <br /> Board of Adjustment, after reviewing all testimony, made the find- <br /> ings that: <br /> 1. There are exceptional circumstances applying to the subject <br /> property as to the intended use therof , that do not apply <br /> generally to other properties in the same vicinity. <br /> 2. The variance is necessary for the Preservation and enjoyment <br /> of a substantial property riqht of the appellant possessed <br /> by the owners of other properties as the clinic is keepir.� with <br /> the parking that is now present. <br /> 3. The authorization of the variance will not be materially <br /> detrimental to the public welfare as the clinic serves the <br /> people in the vicinity in which the property is located. <br /> 4 . The granting of the variance will not adversely affect the <br /> Comprehensive Land Use Plan. <br />
