The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the <br /> work authorized by the pecmit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced <br /> for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without documentation <br /> of completion, you may: - ' <br /> 1) Request an inspection of work that has nccurred,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days.
