Box 2644 <br /> Everett,WA 98203 <br /> Re: 2919 Pine Street <br /> Everett, WA _ <br /> Deaz Mr. Chhabra: <br /> During a regular city inspection it was noted that a second floor had been added to this <br /> building without permits or inspections. Corrective action is required in order for this <br /> portion of the building to be legally occupied and used. <br /> This action includes obtaining electrical and building permits for the work plus making <br /> any corrections required to bring the work into compliance with City Codes. Correction <br /> items observed during the inspection include the following: <br /> ➢ Placing the electrical wiring in metallic raceway <br /> ➢ Making all electrical junction boxes accessible <br /> ➢ Revising the stairway (landing size/handrails/width/fire protection on the <br /> underside) <br /> The submittal package required to obtain permits must include a swctural design of the <br /> floor joisWeam/column/connection system (there appears to be some members over <br /> spanned), specifications of the insulation in the high bay area relative to flame spread as <br /> well as the appropriate material oudined on the enclosed submittal list. <br /> Please contact this office within 10 days to discuss ihe timing of the submittals and <br /> corrective work.
