'fhe <br />Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by <br />the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br />days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without documentation of completion, you <br />may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress. <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed. <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department <br />for microfilming without final approval.
