Plans and specifications for porlable classrooms and reslrooms at the above noted schools, <br />I�� received July 16, 1990, have been reviewed. These appear to meet with Ihe provisions of the <br />state school code, WAC 248-64, and are provisionally approved, wilh Ihe exception of Jefterson <br />Elemenlary. Those provisions are oullined below. <br />�_i—i <br />Jef(erson ulilizes an on•site sewage disposal system. A letter from Ihis otlice lo Everelt Scliool <br />District dated June 1, 1987 (copy enclosed) outlines concerns wilh tho condition of that <br />system. Two portable classrooms were allowed to be set-up in 1987, however we cannot <br />condone furlher expansion of Ihis school until Iha on-site system lias been addressed. <br />Prior lo acceplance of the expansion o( Jeiferson Elementary, approval of tlie Sanitation Section <br />of tlie Snohomish Health District wiil be required. Contacl Randy Darsl at 339•5270. <br />The romaining schools can be approved provided: � <br />1. Unit ventilators be surveyed and adiustod to meel the requirements of Seclion 320 (Sound <br />Control) ot WAC 248-64. A Certification o( Complianco will be required alter the <br />complelion of testing as oullined in your lelter of July 30, 1990. <br />2.
