Use only skilled and experienced drywall installers for <br />laying up the qypsum board, nailing, taping, and <br />fin_shing. Helpers and apprentices used for.such work <br />shall be under full and constant supervision at all <br />times by thoroughly skilled drywall applicators. In <br />the accept�nce or rejection of installed drywall <br />system, no allowance will be made for lack of skill. <br />B. Apply wall boards with long dimension parallel to <br />framing. Use full size sheets of maximum lengths. <br />C. Attachment: Conform to U.S.G. standard fasteninq <br />system. Fasteners driven home to dimple into wall <br />board. Care taken not to break face paper. <br />D. Metal corner bead at all external corners, internal <br />corners reinforced with perforated tape. Edge trim at <br />all expo�;ed edges and between wall board and other <br />materials. <br />E. Treat joints, nail heads, corner beads, etc, with joint <br />compound and perforated tape using number of coats and <br />procedures recommended by manufacturer. Do not use <br />dual purpose premix compounds. <br />F. Taping and cementing ready to receive finishes is <br />required on all wall board.
