'Ihe rigid insulaUon called for on top of the <br />plywoai roof deck was required by the specified rouCmg manufacturer to accomplish a Class "B" tire rating. <br />71ie roofing subcontractor states that he can get the same �re rx�i�ig wilhout insuladon on the deck, by <br />installing a"Manninglas" slip shcet over the plywood iastead. <br />It is our opinion that lhis is actually preferred, in terms oC dew point consid��ration, and lhat if ihe roofing <br />manufacturer can ccrlify this system to be Class "B," we concur with Uils method. <br />Sincercly. <br />K.
