STREETS
259 8820
April 17, 1989
Bill Walker
1620 Rainier Ave CITY of
Everett, WA 98203 eve rett
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
02CO CEDAR STREET
Job Address: 1621 Rainier Ave EVERETT. WASHINGTON
98201
Permit Number(s): A7727
Date of Permit(s): September 9, 1987
A review of our records shows that there has been no request for inspection
at the subject address. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits
expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work
authorized by permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date such
permit is issued, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is
suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period
of 180 days. As the permit holder, it is your responsibility to call for
all required inspections while work is in progress :.nd to call for final
inspection when the work is completed and prior to occupancy.
As your permit has already expired, the Code requires that a new permit must
be obtained and additional fees.paid before you can resume work or call for
final inspection. However, the City of Everett is at this time extending a
one-time grace period to holders of recently expired permits. If you wish
to recommence work you may renew your permit at, no cost for an additional
180 day period by submitting a written request to this office. The renewal
request must reach us by April 30,1989. If the work has been completed, you
may call for final inspection before April 30th. Any corrections required
must be completed and final approval obtained before that date. Permits
that have been neither finaled nor extended by April 30 1989 will expire.
You may mail or deliver written requests to our office at 3200 Cedar Street,
Everett, WA 98201. If you have questions or want to request an inspection,
please call us at 259-8810, 8:00 AM to 5:00 FM, Monday through Friday.
Sincerely,
ALFRED R.
