,r • • <br />Floors below grade in buildings (other than parking garages) shall be marked with the <br />leller "B" (when there is only one floor below grade). When there is more than one (loor <br />below grade, they shall be marked with ihe letter "B" followed by numbers, in <br />descending order, beginning with the number "1" (for the floor immediately below the <br />ground floor or firsl floor), then "2", "3", elc. Example -"B1", "B2", "63", in descending <br />order. <br />Mezzanines shall be marked �vith the lelter "M". When there is more than one <br />mezzanine, they shall be marked wilh the letter "M" follo�ved by numbers, in ascending <br />order. Example - "M1", "M2", elc. <br />Parking garages shall use the letter "P" to dasignate floors. <br />VUhen there is only one parking level at or above grade, it shall be marked with the letter <br />"P". When there is more than one parking level at or above grade, they shali be marked <br />with the letter "P" followed by numbers, in ascending order. Example -"P1", "P2", etc. <br />When there is only one parking Ievei below grade, it shall be marked "P01." When there <br />is more than one parking level below grade, they shall be marked with the lelter "P" <br />foilowed by numbers, in descending order. Example -"P01", "P02", etc. <br />Large parking structures may use lelters to designate columns for ease of locating <br />automobiles. Example -"Floor P3, Column E". <br />19. A room numbering footprint shall be provided to the Fire Marshai's Office for approval of <br />fioor/building numbering. <br />20. All fire alarm controt panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or <br />closets with slandard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire Code <br />Officiat. <br />21. The location of Fire Departmenl connections (FDC) and posl indicator va�ves (PIV) shail <br />be determined by the Fire Code Official. If immediate outside mandoor access is <br />available to the sprinkler valves (risers), a PIV will nol be required. <br />Phase I- FDC to be located af hydrant north on Rainier Avenue.' <br />Phase II - FDC for Bldg. B lo be located at hydranl at entrance; FDC for Bldg. A to be <br />located at hydrant on 12`" Street: <br />22. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be Iocated a minimum <br />of 5 feet from lhe building [IFC 304.3.3 and 304.3.4, 2009 EditionJ. <br />23. Grade - Fire apparalus access roads shall not exceed 10% in grade. <br />24. Dead ends - Dead-end fire apparatus access roads in excess of 150 feet shall be <br />provided with width and turnaround provisions in accordance �vith the information below: <br />150 to 500 feel 20 feet wide 120 foot hammerhead <br />501 to 750 feet 26 feet wide 120 foot hammerhead <br />
