The.se <br /> comments address building issues only, addidonal revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departrnents (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references rofer to the 1997 Uniform <br /> Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code <br /> 1997 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> 1. Provide height calculations per enclosed instructions. Revise plans as needed to <br /> comply with height restrictions. <br /> 2. Show minimum 6" wood to earth clearance on section view elevations. <br /> 3. Provide moisture barrier on walls and roof. <br /> 4. Anchor bolts are required to be embedded a minimum of 7" into the concrete. <br /> A minimum of two anchor bolts are required in each piece of sill. Anchor bolts <br /> shall be placed at not more than 12" from each end of each sill and not more <br /> than 48" o.c. � <br /> 5. Provide alternate braced wall panel (per Section 2320 U.B.C.) on the right side <br /> of the overhead door. Specify hold down with minimum 1800-pound capacity. <br /> Show on plans. <br /> 6. Downspouts are required to be tight lined to sanitary sewer. Show on site plan. <br /> 7. Provide solid blocking at top plate,capable of resisting overturning and capable <br /> of transfening roof loads into exterior walls. <br /> 8.
