The site currently has two <br /> single-family homes, a free-standing garage, and, located <br /> adjacent to the alley, a non-conforming dwelling with <br /> attached garage. A portion of the free-standing garage will <br /> be removed so that three two-bedroom townhouses can be <br /> constructed. The two single-family dwellings will each be <br /> converted to three-bedroom duplex units. One of the duplex � <br /> units will be designed for handicap access. The <br /> non-conforming dwelling unit with attached qaraqe will not <br /> be altered. Thus, the current site with three dwelling <br /> units will be rebuilt for a total of eight units. Seven of <br /> these units require permits. A total of 14 new parking <br /> places will be provided in addition to the qarage attached <br /> to the existing dwe].ling unit on the alley.
