Detailed drawinqs in accordance with City Dasiqn and Construction Standards shall be su� :ed to the Public � Works Department showing site parking layout, landscapinq, utilities, storm drainage and temporary construction erosion control. Public Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior to any permits beinq issued. All improvements shall be completed, approved and warranted befora the Occupancy Permit is i�3ued. 2. City streets are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during construction. Dust suppression nnd street cleaning must occur as' directed by the Public Works inspector. 3. The Police Department has the followinq security recommendutions: � a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree to ' 220 degree wide angle viewers and sinqle cylinder deadbolts with 1" throw and at least 3" scraws securinq striker plate. b. Windows should overlook the parkinq lot for increased security of vehicles. c. Sliding qlass doors should have Charlie bars installed for optimum security. d. Liqhting of the parkinq lot should be a minimum of 1-2 foot candles. e. If there is a laundry room, it should be centrally located and highly visible. f. �. gated entrance is recommended for the parkinq area and a fence be placed around the perimeter. g. Durinq the final scages of construction, p2ease contact Dick Thornberry, Crime Prevention Officer at 259-0416 for further security recommendations. 4. The gremises must be clearly identified at the atreet entry or by addresses posted upon each structure. 5. Fire safety practices durinq construction must be in compliance with Article 87 of the Uniform Fire Code. 4
