After <br /> reviewing the affidavits you submitted fros foever oxnera of Lhe property, the <br /> City has determined that it is not a legal nonconforming u�e based on the fact <br /> that Howard Thompeon stated the structure was built se an addiLi.on to his home <br /> for his mother in about 1g63. The �tructure nseded to be in exi�tence prior <br /> to the 1956 adoption of Lhe zoning code in order to De claaaified as a legal <br /> non-conforming use. <br /> Therefore, only oae single family structure la permitted on thia property and <br /> the structure mu�t be eonverted baek to single family uae. Per our talephone <br /> co �ersation of August 2, 1985, the City will allow you to aceomplish Lhis <br /> conversion as follove as you requested, so as to not aake an undue hardship on <br /> you. <br /> 1. Cease renting out the main house (1327 Oakes) by September 30, 1985, <br /> and laave it set empty until you move back to Everett from Anchorage, <br /> Alaska, at which time you will reoccupy the main house. <br /> 2, The small house in the rear (1327-1/2 Oakes) may De ren ed and occupied <br /> until you resume oecupancy of the main house; however, that small house <br /> must not be rented out after the main house is reoceupiad. <br /> In other words, one or the other of the two dwelling unite may be occupied, <br /> but not both. Hhen you resume oecupancy of Lhe main house, please notify this <br /> office so follow-up inspections can be done.
