WHEREAS, on March 1 G, 2005, Everett Cily Council concurred with tUe <br /> recommendation of the Historical Commission with conditions (a) through(e) above; and <br /> VJI-IEREAS, on July 2Q 2005„ Everett City Coimcil approved changes to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Land Use map and rezones to allo��� expansion of PEMC into Block <br /> 248 of the llonovan District by Ordinance No. 2S50-O5, which includes Development <br /> Standards and Guidelines; and <br /> �1'HEREAS, lhe Everett Municipal Codc statcs in Section 2.9G.060C(3)that thc decision <br /> conceming the granting or denial of a ceriificate of appropriateness shall be made by the <br /> mayor(or designee) on the advice of thc commission according to the slandards <br /> estaUlished in the commission's rules; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ihe Mayor has designated the City's Building Official to render the decision <br /> in this matter; <br /> NOW, THEREPORE, the Building Of(icial approves a Certificate of Appropriateness to <br /> ro-construcl, alter, restorc, remodel, mpair, or movc thc house located at 1334 Oal:es <br /> Avenue, willt the following conditions: <br /> (a) PEMC shall be mquircd to comply�vith the recommendations, condilions a�id <br /> standards detailed in City Council Ordinance No. 2350-OS and exhibits thereto, all of <br /> which arc incorporated hercin by refcrcnce. <br /> (b) PE1MC �vill make every efCort to avoid damagc to the Donovan houses :�eing <br /> moved off Block 248. <br /> (c) Thc houses will Ue moved and relocated follo�ving established siandards for <br /> relocation of historic properlies�ahich preserve the historic integrity of the structures. <br /> (d) PEMC���ill compleic a thorough photographic documentalior of Block 2�8 and <br /> ihe strectscapc of the 1300 block of Oakes as tliey no��� cxist. <br /> (c) Au exhibit ar display depicting thc hislorv and characteristics of the Donovan <br /> District�vill be i»cluded in nc��� de��elopment on Block 24S. <br /> (Q Treatment of and repairs to the l�ouses bcing moved ���ill be consistent with thc <br /> Washington Statc Advisory Council's Standards for Re aUilitation and Maintenance <br /> of I-Iisloric Propertics. <br /> r <br /> /6 7G�'Z_. <br /> Tim Tyler <br /> City of E��erctt Bu'Iding Official <br /> Datc v 30 �S <br /> : a �2 <br />
