If a room in a building has a <br /> sloping ceiling, the prescribed ceiling height for the room <br /> is required in only half the area thereof. " Therefore, <br /> the second floor of this house does not meet the prescribed <br /> requirements for habitable space and car.not be used as <br /> bedrooms. <br /> This inspection was made of the building as it now exists, <br /> therefore, this certification does not imply that the <br /> building will meet the requirements for new construction <br /> which are covered by Building, Plumbing and Electrical Codes. <br /> Any enlargement, improvement, alteration or repair of the <br /> building may require compliance with these more restrictive <br /> ccdes. <br /> Yours truly, <br /> Kenneth W.
