A. Narrative Statement
1 . The wall in question that was erected in July, i92 , serves
to enclose a walk-way that was added from the back door of
the rental unit to the asphalt parking area. Freviouly
the back door of the rental opened onto a drop of approxi-
mately two feet, which was unsafe. The renters needed a
safe second exit to their home. The wall then enclosed
that new walk-wa,y and protected it from premature weather-
ing. ihe aall extends out from the previous existin out-
side wall by agproximately eleven inches. (Making it aUout
rive ir_ches from tkie property line. ) The roof is a roved
plastic and constructed to slope toward the alley and
into the new gutter and down the new drain pipe to the
asphalted parking area.
2, I am being deprived of Lhe riht to improve m,y property.
3. This improvement is not detrimental to the public welfare
or injurious to the properties or vicinity imahich the
property is '_ocated.
4 , If this variance is not granted , I will have to remove
this wall which will cause the walk-way to be subject to
weatherin and the over-all appearance will be a detri-
ment t my community.
5, This eariance, if granted to me, is not a special prii] ee r
just for me. But a right that every land owner should
have to improve their pr.operty, thus improve his/her
proper.y, thus improve the community. My imnrovemer is y ;
consistant with my immediate coRmunity, and I think I shou]d .
be granted this variance .
 F'
 ti
F
b :
c
 :
, .
.2
r

c

xNie rr y
;
