Violations & EMC Sections <br /> Inspection of the proaertv reveals the followina conditions and v' ations: <br /> A. There are 2 single-family residence structures on the lot. The rear house was <br /> heavily damaged by a flre on March 25, 2011. The structure is now open to <br /> entry and is filled with rubbish and putrescible garbage. This Is a violation of <br /> International Property Maintenance Code 304.1 which reads; <br /> fie exterior ofa structure shall be maintained in good repair, strudural/y sound <br /> and sanitary so as not to pose a threat to the pubNc health, safely or welfare. <br /> and International Property Maintenance Code 308.1 which reads; <br /> All exterior propeity and prem/ses, and the interior of every structure, shall be <br /> free from any aaumu/ation of rubbish or garbage. <br /> B. The open access and the presence of the rubbish and garbage within these <br /> structures render them unfit for human habitation. This is a violation of <br /> International Property Maintenance Code 108.1.3 which reads; <br /> Strudure Unfit for Human Occupancy <br /> A structure is unFit for human occupancy whenever the Code O�cial finds that <br /> such structure is unsafe, un/awful or, because to the degree to which the <br /> structure is in disrepair or/acks maintenance, is unsanitary, vermin or rat <br /> infested, contains filth or contamination, o�lacks ventilation, illumination, <br /> sanitary or heating facilities or other essential equipment requi�ed by this code, <br /> or because of the/aation of the structure constitutes a hazard to the oaupants <br /> of the structure or to the public. <br /> C. The failure of the Respondent to properly secure the premises in a timely <br /> fashion to prevent entry and the on-going disposal of garbage and rubbish <br /> within the structure is a violation of International Properly Maintenance <br /> Code 108.2 which reads; <br /> Closing of�acant Structures.
