Upon calling Robin, I asked if she was the owner of the property and she said no, that her friend was the son of the property owner and they were repairing the buildings for Ute owner. She informed me that she replaced all plumbing with copper pipe, the heater now worked, the back porch had been replaced, and the ftont door had been replaced. I asked if she was a contractor and she said no, she "didn't know squat about construction". I asked if the place was occupied and she said she was living in it. When I advised her that the place had been posted "Illegal to Occupy" and that it was illegal to be living in it she became indignant and told me that sh had approval from Tim. I apologized. When I advised her tt�at she needed permits for the work performed and in the process, she becatne indignant again and demanded to know what or who said she needed permits. Advising her over the phone was not sufficient, she wanted it in writing. ANY AND ALL WORK BEING PERFORMED ON EITHER OF TI� HOUSES ON THIS PROPERTY REQUIItES PERMITS. PLANS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL STRUCTURAL WORK. Robin has been informed of these requirements. Also, I have not been able to make contact with the owner of ihe property and i feel it is necessary to obtain, in writing and notarized, from the owner, permission for the work being performed, and the occupying of the buildings.
