Copies of <br /> the last inspections ure enclosed The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by <br /> limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work <br /> is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without <br /> documentation of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work that has occurred,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please provide the permit number•,vhen requesting inspections or extensions. Please respond <br /> within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming <br /> without final approval.
