I am not aware of the past history <br />of these houses but will investigate to determine why no <br />action has been taken to alleviate the condition you referred to. <br />I agree with you that we should not have to wait until some <br />child or transient causes a fire before the city takes action and <br />In this regard I am asking for a complete report on the history <br />and status of these buildings from our Building Inspection <br />Department. <br />If the structures can be classified as dangerous or hazardous the <br />city will take immediate action to abate this condition. <br />Thanl� you again for your information. <br />Sincerely, <br />ROBERT C.
