W., Suite 2 <br />Lynnwood, Washington 98036 <br />Attn: Bobbie Craig <br />At your request a minimum Housing Code inspection was conducted on the <br />property located at 3617 6akes, Everett, Washington. <br />The following defects must be corrected before we can certify that <br />this structure meets the minimum rrquirements of the Uniform Housing <br />Code. <br />Unit C: <br />1. Sec. 503(a). Habitable space shall have a ceiling height of not less <br />than 7 feet 6 inches. Kitchens, halls, bathrooms and toilet com- <br />partments may have a ceilinq height of not less tna�� 7 feet measured <br />to the lowest projec�ion from the ceilinq. <br />2. Repair falling ceiling in the kitchen. <br />3. Sec. 801. Every sleepinq room below the fo�rth story shall have at <br />least one operable window or exterior door approved for emergency <br />egress or rescue. <br />... .. . .-_..� � <br />All egress or rescue windows from sieeping rooms shall have a minimum <br />net clear openin9 of 5.7 square feet. The minimum net clear opening <br />height dimension shall be 24 inches. The minimum net clear opening <br />width dimension shall be 20 inches. Where windews are provided as a <br />means of egress or rescue they shall have a finished sill height not <br />more than 44 inches above the floor. <br />The structure inspected is a triplex. Existing files with the City of <br />EvereLt indicate that the structure is a single family residence. <br />Conversion of a single family residence into a multiple family occupancy <br />requires permits and inspections for code compliance.
